A few shots from the Pleasurama site taken this morning after the storm blew down the walls. What an eyesore. Time to sack SFP V and their spokesperson Terrence Painter and take back the land. What's happened here is a disgrace!
And as usual a song
Here are the lyrics - very apt I think
You don't have to take this crap
You don't have to sit back and relax
You can actually try changing it
I know we've always been taught to rely
Upon those in authority -
But you never know until you try
How things just might be -
If we came together so strongly
Are you gonna try to make this work
Or spend your days down in the dirt
You see things can change -
YES an' walls can come tumbling down!
Governments crack and systems fall
'cause Unity is powerful -
Lights go out - walls come tumbling down!
I notice from the third photograph, not even that stage of the job was finished, perhaps Gerry O'Donnell can get a team of amateur sculptors in to finish it off...people power and all that.
ReplyDeletePleasurama is over. Clear the site and hoarding ready for the Summer. And reopen the Old Swimming Pool not a £5M fire station and cancel the Beach Resort and Slipways.
ReplyDeleteAfter all this time and exposure to the salty air are they even viable as foundations?
ReplyDeleteHAHA great song Ian made me chuckle! Would be even funnier if it was not to serious!
